I recall the distinct feeling of wanting to reconnect with Alyssa years after our post-college lives took us in different directions. It was a feeling I can and shall never forget. From that day forward, I knew Alyssa was the person with whom I wanted to spend the rest of my life. Every day that we've spent together has only built on that feeling and, today, it is stronger than ever.

I met Chris during a Tacoma summer in 2005. After building a firm foundation of friendship during our college years, we reconnected and started dating in 2010. I knew within months that he was the man with whom I would spend the rest of my life. I vividly remember a note from Chris in 2010 that read “I’ll do whatever it takes to put a smile on your face,” and he has done exactly that every day since.
